Reporting your income if you are self-employed

You recently received a letter from us requesting that you report your income. We need this information so that we can recalculate your WIA, Wajong, WAO or WAZ benefit now that you have become self-employed or have experienced a change in your income.

How to report your income

To inform us of your income, complete the Report your income if you are self-employed form (‘Doorgeven informatie over uw inkomsten als zelfstandige’). You will need either a DigiD account or a valid European electronic ID (‘Europees erkend inlogmiddel’) to do this.

The letter you received will specify which date the form needs to be submitted by.

What you will need when completing the form

  • your estimated annual income as a self-employed person
  • your spouse or civil partner’s contract if they are helping out in the business (‘fiscaal meewerkcontract’)
