Claiming disability-related expenses

If you have received confirmation from us that we will cover the costs of a good or service for your disability, you will be able to claim a disability-related expense. This page tells you how to do this.

How to claim disability-related expenses

To claim a disability-related expense, complete the disability-related expenses form (‘Indienen declaratie voor voorzieningen’). You will need to log in to Mijn UWV using either your DigiD account or a valid European electronic ID (‘Europees erkend inlogmiddel’) to do this.

It is likely that we will ask for receipts or documents that prove you incurred these costs. Please attach your receipts to the form by using the ‘Upload’ button on the ‘Disability-related expenses form’.

If you would rather send your receipts to UWV by post, you can do so. Just don’t forget to fill in the specification sheet as well. Then send the completed specification sheet and your receipts to the address specified on the sheet.
