Submitting a payment request for paid parental leave

If you have decided to receive your employee’s paid parental leave (‘betaald ouderschapsverlof’) in instalments, you will need to submit a payment request for the second and third part of their leave. This is important as we cannot transfer the benefit payments to you otherwise.

How to receive the benefit payment in instalments

Your application for paid parental leave will count as your first payment request. You can send up to 2 more payment requests for the remaining instalments. To do so, submit an online payment request (‘Indienen betaalverzoek’).

To make these requests, please log in to the employer portal with your EH3 level eHerkenning account.

Decision

You will receive a decision about your payment request within 4 weeks of us having received your payment request.
