• Your employee has returned to work.
  • Your employee has partially returned to work.
  • Your employee returned to work but has fallen ill again.

If you want to report a change in your employee’s return-to-work process, use the ‘Absence’ feature (‘Verzuimmelder’) on the employer portal. You will need a EH3 level eHerkenning account to do this. You will also need your employee’s citizen service number (BSN).

We will instantly be able to check any changes reported via the ‘Absence’ feature. If anything is unclear, we will contact you as soon as possible to avoid delaying your employee’s return-to-work process.

Please note: If you are using Digipoort (in Dutch), you can report a change in your employee’s return-to-work process while managing your payroll.

If something changes in your employee’s return-to-work process, you must report this within 2 days of the change occurring. This includes Saturdays.

If your employee is receiving a benefit from us and is able to return to work, they will also have to report this to us. For more information, visit Informing UWV of your recovery (in Dutch).

Please note: If you are late in reporting a change, you run the risk of getting a fine.
