Employers are indispensable partners in terms of getting people into work. We are setting up Employer Service Points for the 35 labour market regions. We focus our employer services primarily on jobseekers who need extra support.

The UWV Data Services division collects and manages Policy Administration. It holds data on the wages, benefits and employment contracts of all insured persons in the Netherlands. We do this in close collaboration with the Tax and Customs Administration. We use the data ourselves, but also make it available to other parties.

UWV has set up the Dutch Research Centre for Insurance Medicine (KCVG) together with partners in the field. We also set up the Arbeidsdeskundig Kennis Centrum in collaboration with the Nederlandse Vereniging van Arbeidsdeskundigen (NVvA). This is intended to professionalise this discipline and to provide further scientific justification for it.

Thanks in part to our client councils, we know what matters to our clients and what they think of our service. They advise us as a fully-fledged interlocutor. There are 11 councils in the regions that are primarily concerned with implementation, 1 central client council serves as an interlocutor for the Executive Board and offers input into the direction of the UWV. The members are nominated by trade unions and client organisations.
