Log in to Mijn UWV and use the Reporting a change while receiving an IOW benefit (‘Wijziging doorgeven IOW’) form to report the following changes:

  • a change to your personal details
  • a holiday you are planning
  • a change to your working situation or income. If you are taking part in the income reporting pilot ('proef met het doorgeven van inkomsten'), report your income using the Report your monthly earnings ('Inkomstenopgave') form instead
  • a change to how your payroll tax credit is applied ('verrekening van uw loonheffingskorting')

If you are receiving an UWV top-up benefit ('toeslag van UWV'), you must also report any changes to your living situation ('leefsituatie') and your partner's income.

The following changes must also be reported to us, but in a different way:

If you do not report a change in your circumstances, or do not report it on time, this may affect your IOW benefit. You can read more about this on our compliance monitoring page (in Dutch, 'UWV controleert').

A change in your circumstances may affect your entitlement to an UWV top-up benefit or the amount you receive. If a change means your income falls below the guaranteed minimum income ('sociaal minimum'), you may be able to apply for an UWV top-up benefit.
