Deleting cookies and clearing your browsing data on your smartphone or tablet
For Google Chrome on an Android device:
- Open the browser and tap the 3-dots menu in the top-right corner.
- Select ‘Settings’ and then tap ‘Privacy and security’ and ‘Clear data’.
- In the drop-down time range, select ‘All time’.
- Make sure all of the boxes have been checked.
For Safari on an iOS device:
- Go to ‘Settings’ and select ‘Safari’.
- Scroll down and select ‘Clear history and website data’.
- You will still need to clear some remaining data. Go back to ‘Settings’ and select ‘Safari’.
- Scroll all the way down and select ‘Advanced’ and then ‘Website data’.
- Select ‘Remove all website data’.
