José Lazeroms has been a member of the Executive Board of UWV since the 1th of January 2012.
José Lazeroms was born in Oudenbosch in 1964. She studied public administration and public law at the Catholic University of Brabant in Tilburg. José Lazeroms started her career in 1989 at the province of Noord-Brabant as policy employee for public housing. From 1990 she worked at the Ministry of Finance in various positions. In 1998 she moved over to the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, first as department head and later as deputy director of the Financial and Economic Affairs Department. From the end of 2001 to the beginning of 2004 she was project director for Enforcement Policy at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. In 2003 she also served here as acting director-general for implementation policy for work and income. From 2004 she worked at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW). First as director of Financial and Economic Affairs and from 2008 as director-general of Primary and Secondary Education. From the 1th of February to the 1th of May 2016 she was temporary chairman of the Executive Board of the Sociale Verzekeringsbank
