  • Dismissal for commercial reasons or for reasons of long-term incapacity for work: you must request the approval of the UWV Employee Insurance Agency, a Dutch benefits organization.
  • All other reasons for dismissal: you must request the approval of the Dutch subdistrict court.
  • You dismiss the employee during their trial period.
  • The (temporary) employment agreement of your employee lapses.
  • You summarily dismiss the employee.
  • Your employee agrees to their dismissal.
