People who work fewer than 4 days per week as home help or as a care provider for someone with a personal budget should call us to apply for additional partner’s leave.

The budget holder needs to apply for additional partner’s leave on behalf of their care provider, using the form below. They can also ask the SVB ('Sociale Verzekeringsbank') to do this.

Care providers can also apply for additional partner’s leave themselves by calling us.

The application can be submitted from 4 weeks before the leave starts until 4 weeks after the last day of leave.

There is 1 application for the entire period, covering the total number of full working weeks of leave, even if the leave is taken at different times.

If the application is submitted late, we will only pay for the period that falls within 1 year before we received the application.

After receiving the application, we will post you a letter asking you to send us additional documents. Once we have all the information we need, we will make a decision within 4 weeks and send it to you through Mijn UWV.
