Maarten Camps (M.R.P.M.) has been the chair of the Executive Board of UWV since September 2020. From 2013 to 2020, he was Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Prior, he held management roles at the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. Maarten was the Director General for Employment at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment from 2008 to 2013. He was also the chair of the EU Employment Committee (EMCO, 2005-2007) and of the European High Level Group for Competitiveness and Growth (2016-2017). Maarten studied Economics at the University of Tilburg and the University of Exeter in the UK.
